5 Steps to join together a Propane Tank to a transportable Grill
Propane is one of the most handy, reasonable and convenient form of fuel nowadays. It is generally being used for any functions such as automotive engines, residential heating systems or movable propane grills and etc. However, there are some prominent steps to consequent while installing a propane tank to a movable grill:
Step 1
Put the grill and the propane tank on top of a clear and flat-leveled floor. This is to make sure that the tank and the grill is on a stable location so that it will not be tipped over while operation.
Step 2
Most of the grills have a dedicated spot to hook up the propane tank and what you need to do is just considered hook the tank onto that spot. If the grill is not equipped with the dedicated spot for you to hook up the tank, then you will have no choice but to put the tank beside the grill.
Step 3
Make sure that the fitting or switch of the tank is complete before attaching it onto the grill.
Step 4
Connect the fitting of the grill to the threaded fitting of the propane tank. The threaded fitting is normally positioned beside the tank. Lock the association of both fittings by turning the fitting in counterclockwise direction.
Step 5
Once the fittings for both the grill and tank are connected, now you should check for any inherent leaks. You can just put some soapy water around the fittings then turn on the valve. If no bubbles come into view, this shows that the fitting is linked correctly. If bubbles appear, this shows that there are some leaks on the connection. You have to close the tank, and then disconnect all the fittings and reconnecting them again until there are no leaks can be found.
Once you have done the steps above appropriately, you can now use the grill and enjoy the grilling pleasure.
